Cleveland Home to Cutting Edge Cancer Hospital
Cleveland’s University Hospitals has just introduced the new Seidman Cancer Center, costing $260 million to build. The freestanding cancer hospital will feature cutting edge technology, such as: a PET-MRI scanner, one of only four in the world; and the newest model of the intraoperative MRI, or “iMRI”, which allows patients to stay under anesthesia while checking for residual tissue.
